Paragon Flight is approved by the Veterans Benefits Administration (VA) and can offer our Veterans support and financial aid though the Montgomery GI Bill, The Post-9/11 GI Bill and through our partnership with Liberty University.
Each program has it’s unique benefits.
Montgomery GI Bill
Flight training benefits are extended to those who want to advance their pilot qualifications. You must have a Private Pilots License (PPL) and valid medical certification before you start training. If you are training under the Montgomery GI Bill the VA will reimburse you for 60 percent of the approved charges.
Post-9/11 GI Bill
Paragon Flight is eligible to offer Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits through our partnership with Liberty University’s School of Aeronautics as a Flight Training Affiliate (FTA).
The Post-9/11 GI Bill program entitles veterans, their spouses, or their dependent children the opportunity to be awarded 100 percent of their educational expenses, including a housing stipend.
Paragon and Liberty University participate in the Yellow Ribbon program, which allows eligible students to continue training once their annual GI Bill® funding has been exceeded. Liberty does not have an annual cap on Yellow Ribbon programs.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available here.
