Accelerated Commercial Flight Training

Achieving commercial flight training on an accelerated timeline requires dedication, effort, and the best flight school available: Paragon Flight. We are a top-quality flight school awaiting the opportunity to help those from near and far in pursuit of a pilot’s license.

An FAA-approved FAR Part 141 and Part 61 flight school, Paragon Flight was founded in 2006 and is a premiere provider of flight instruction, technologically advanced aircraft, and the best curriculum available. The Part 141-approved program follows a strict syllabus and schedule, but the Part 61 program offers more flexibility for your flight training. The cost and outcome may be the same, but Part 141 follows a more classroom-structured model, while Part 61 requires more independent motivation and study.

Why Train at Paragon Flight

Accelerated Commercial Flight TrainingOne of the key advantages Paragon Flight offers is by virtue of our fabulous location. Here in Southwest Florida, we average over 350 days each year of perfect flying weather. Imagine the acceleration of your flight education when your logged flight hours aren’t hindered by inclement weather.

The close proximity and privileges we enjoy at several airports also contribute to the ease with which you can pursue your flying time. Our primary airport is Page Field, the hub of aviation in Southwest Florida. We can work around your schedule, providing you a personalized package of flight instruction. You receive as much one-on-one instruction as you need for success.

Paragon Flight is able to provide training for beginners, pilots who seek additional skills or certifications, for example in instrument ratings or multi-engine certifications, and even those seeking to earn a living by flying. The amount of time required will depend on your goals as well as the time you have to invest in your training.

Jeppesen, a subsidiary of Boeing and a leader in educational materials for flight training, partners with Paragon Flight. We are one of a small number allowed to use their curriculum and tools. This partnership allows our students to complete their training 30% faster than students at other flight schools.

Those with no prior flight experience should expect to complete the following certification courses:

  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Instrument Flight Rating (IFR)
  • Commercial License; Single Engine (CSEL) and/or Multi Engine CMEL)
  • Optional: Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • Optional: Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)

Pilots who attend Paragon Flight for their training will learn to fly in technologically advanced aircraft. We currently use the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, the Cessna Stationair C206H, the Cirrus SR20 and SR22, and the Piper PA-44 Seminole. We supply single and multi-engine aircraft to meet the needs of our students, and each option is outfitted with glass cockpit avionics to make sure that the training is easily adapted to any modern aircraft.

The cost of earning your pilot’s license will also depend on you. The program you pursue, along with the aircraft, frequency of lessons, and your existing pilot experience are all factors. Fortunately, we partner with We Florida Financial to help students finance their dreams. Their program We Fly provides financing for prospective flight students at a fixed-rate between $5,000 and $30,000.
