A career as a pilot promises fun and adventure, whether you want to travel the world for an international airline or tow banners locally to advertise businesses. With Paragon Flight’s accelerated commercial pilot training in Florida, you can make those goals happen on an expedited timeline and with a smaller budget. We offer personal attention and custom-designed courses to prepare you well to act as a professional pilot.

Accelerated Commercial Pilot Training FloridaOne of the top flight schools in the United States, Paragon Flight provides three flight school locations and offers appropriate training for all levels of aviation education. We make flight school safe and fun while preparing pilots to operate aircraft well.

A significant benefit that we provide comes from our location. We have two Florida flight schools – one in Fort Myers and the other in Punta Gorda. Both of these locations enjoy a beautiful environment and flight-friendly weather conditions for 350+ days of the year. Not only do these conditions make accruing flight hours faster possible, but we also offer the P3 Program designed to facilitate faster completion of your commercial pilot licenses and flight instructor certification.

About the P3 Professional Pilot Program

This faster and more affordable program relies on quality over quantity, professional character development, and appropriate financing resources.

  • Phase One
    • Private Pilot License (PPL)
      • Foundation
      • Best practices
      • Good habits
      • Permits single-engine flight in VFR conditions
  • Phase Two
    • Instrument Flight Rating (IFR)
      • Training for utilization of navigation and communication systems
      • Allows for flight in non-VFR conditions
      • Used by commercial pilots regularly
  • Phase Three
    • Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL/CMEL)
      • Mastery level training for professional flight in single-engine and multi-engine aircraft
      • Training for all procedures followed by professionals
      • Permits acceptance of compensation for flight services
  • Phase Four
    • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
      • Permits commercial pilots to provide single-engine flight training
      • Excellent entry point into the aviation field because it allows pilots to share their passion, hone their skills, make a living, and accrue flight hours for further career goals. Consider that working for an airline requires an ATP, Airline Transport Pilot certification, and 1,500 flight hours documented.

Candidates who’d like to participate in the P3 Program should be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; although, we prefer some college experience. Further requirements include two character references, one personal and one professional, that demonstrate a strong work ethic and good moral character. Candidates should have a clean driving record, FAA record, criminal background, and behavioral/cognitive evaluation. Fluency and literacy in the English language, an FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, and full-time availability round out the somewhat stringent requirements for participation in the P3 Program. With these qualities, participants should have what it takes to succeed in an accelerated program.

If you’re looking for solutions to a financing issue, speak with our team. We’re familiar with a wealth of measures for paying for flight school, including aviation scholarships, student loans, grants, veterans benefits, and personal lending. No matter your goals and current status, we can find an appropriate financial resource and help you navigate the application process.
