The P3 Program Timeline

  • 0-10 WEEKS, Private Pilot License (PPL) – The first and foundational phase of flight training to develop positive habits and best practices needed for successful aviation pursuits.
  • 11-18 WEEKS, Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – The next phase prepares pilots to fly using navigation and communication equipment to fly in other conditions.
  • 19-30 WEEKS, Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi Engine (CSEL and CMEL) – Developing the skills to operate as a professional pilot in a single- or multi-engine aircraft is the next step on the agenda of the P3 Program.
  • 31-38 WEEKS, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – The last step provides pilots with an entry point into the profession. As a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), pilots are able to practice their skills, log flight hours for future pursuits, share their passion with others, and earn a paycheck. In fact, Paragon Flight looks on applicants from those who matriculated from the P3 Program with a preferential view.
