International Pilot Training Flight School

Paragon Flight invites international students the world over to attend our flight school for pilot training. You’ll receive top-notch training in a beautiful and welcoming environment. When your aviation goals call you to the US, choose to come here.

FYI Regarding Paragon Flight

International Pilot Training Flight SchoolWelcoming student-pilots of all skill levels from all over the world, Paragon Flight operates out of Page Field in Fort Myers. The weather here makes it possible to put pilots in the air over 350 days of the year, and we’ve been honored over and over throughout the years for our commitment to excellence in flight instruction.

Dually Authorized by the FAA

The FAA provides regulations for flight schools under FAR Parts 61 and 141. Paragon Flight ‘s authorizations allow us to provide the structure of a Part 141 flight school and the flexibility of a Part 61 flight school.

We welcome the harried professional who has very little time available for flight school as well as the GI bill-financed veteran or international student who must have participation with a Part 141 flight school.

The Process Required of International Students

Coming into the United States for flight training demands a process of authorization. Student-pilots will need to apply and secure an M-1 student visa, which requires a Form I-20 for the completion of the application. We at Paragon Flight can provide this documentation.

Foreign nationals with permanent residency in the US can participate in flight training with a simple TSA approval. They do not have to have M-1 status.

Already licensed pilots from other countries who’re visiting the US can rent aircraft, and they’re allowed to participate in recurrent training as well.

Paragon Flight Is the Superior Choice

Paragon Flight finds that students want instruction that is easy to understand and follow in order to establish an aviation education that transfers to future endeavors in the cockpit.

We have a comprehensive flight training program that is well-regarded throughout the industry. You’ll find the best instructors employed here, the most appropriate, Technically Advanced aircraft available, and the world-class Jennesen curriculum for training.

The instructors on staff at Paragon Flight have experience in a variety of conditions. We want the best instructors to create the best pilots, so we make significant effort to keep our instructor pool top-of-the-line.

Our aircraft are also the best. For single-engine training, we employ the C172S Skyhawk, and for multi-engine training, we provide the PA-44 Seminole. Additional aircraft within our fleet include the Cessna T182T Skylane, the Cessna C206H Stationair, the Cirrus SR20, the Cirrus SR22 G5/G6, and the AlSIM Flight Simulator. All of these aircraft have modern avionics and Glass Cockpit technology.

Working Your Flight Training Budget

All too often, we allow finances to obscure our ambitions. Paragon Flight is able to provide access to a variety of financing partners, and we accept GI funds.

It’s critical for international students to remember that they will not be allowed to work on an M-1 Visa, which is required for their flight school participation. With this limitation, they should come financially prepared to sustain themselves for the duration of training. The variety of nearby accommodations does make this somewhat easier.
