The P3 Professional Pilot Program can get your training underway with an intensive, accelerated course of study. We also provide custom programs that facilitate training for those without full-time availability, but the P3 Program will save ambitious pilots training time and expense.

P3 Professional Pilot Program at Paragon Flight

The P3 Program leverages three critical factors required to achieve student success – quality of training rather than quantity, help with locating financial resources, and development of professional leadership skills. By prioritizing these three elements, we can provide sufficient training for professional pilots in fewer than 38 weeks.

• 0-10 WEEKS – Private Pilot License (PPL) – foundational stage for all future training that provides pilots with a basic understanding of aviation and best practices for pilots;
• 11-18 WEEKS – Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – preparation for pilots to fly in non-visual conditions using navigation and communication aircraft systems;
• 19-30 WEEKS – Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL and CMEL) – measures designed to bring pilots up to mastery level in terms of skills and practices for professional service as a single-engine or multi-engine aircraft;
• 31-38 WEEKS (CFI) – with a commercial license, a pilot is ready to enter the workforce, and operating as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is an excellent entry point. This role will allow you to make a living doing what you love while earning the 1,500 flight hours you’ll need to apply as an airline pilot.

Once you’ve completed the P3 Program, you’ll need to prepare for your ATP, Airline Transport Pilot certification evaluation, and accumulate 1,500 flight hours before you can apply with an airline.

Paragon Flight’s Flight Training

The flight training offered by Paragon Flight is regulated under Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 141 and 61. Part 141 programs are highly structured and regimented, requiring full-time attendance. Students traveling from other countries on an M-1 Student Visa, veterans using their GI benefits, and those with traditional student financial aid packages must attend a Part 141 flight school like Paragon Flight.

Part 61 programs offer more diversity of schedule and pacing. These courses can be one-on-one custom programs of study to help pilots reach their goals fully. We offer Part 61 courses for pilots who have other obligations and cannot attend full-time.

Paragon Flight is proud to merit the authorization to work under both of these regulations, something most flight schools can’t claim.

We also provide three different locations for training – two in Southwest Florida and one in Georgia. These locations provide clear skies for practical training on 350+ days of the year at the Florida locations and over 300 at the Georgia flight school.
