International Commercial Pilot Training

Professional Pilot Training for International Students

Paragon Flight is an FAA Part 141 approved flight school that is designated by the United States government to legally train non-US residents to become professional airline and commercial pilots.

No matter where you are visiting from, no two airline commercial pilot programs are exactly the same. Every program is developed specifically for each student according to their lifestyle, goals, flight experience and time requirements.

Airline commercial pilot programs can vary in length depending on the individual’s circumstances. After speaking with you and evaluating your individual needs, our team will prepare a custom program specifically for you to ensure completion of training as quickly, efficiently and with minimal cost as possible.

Our commercial pilot courses are designed to be flown in our standardized fleet of Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA). The “TAA” is a designation given to aircraft that meet the highest level of technologically advanced digital avionics, systems and safety. Learning to fly with Paragon helps ensure you are getting the most advanced flight training available while building skills that will be useful to you as you transition to flying modern commercial aircraft.

Don’t make the mistake of starting your career learning to fly obsolete aircraft and equipment. Every major airline in the world now operates aircraft with advanced digital avionics. It is critical that aspiring pilots gain as much experience in aircraft with advanced systems and avionics to help prepare them for their transition into commercial flying.

  • A student (M-1) visa is required for anyone who is not a US citizen or permanent US resident to conduct flight training for initial certifications (PPL, IFR, and Commercial CSEL / CMEL) in the United States.
  • A visa is not required for certified pilots who plan on receiving only recurrent training including flight review or instrument proficiency check as well as license conversions or validations.
  • A visa is also not required for an aircraft checkout or rental of an aircraft while visiting the United States.

Forge Your Career in Aviation

My name is Micah Doane, I trained through Paragon Flight for nearly all of my training until I became a Paragon Flight Instructor. From day one I could tell that Paragon was a place where I could learn about aviation at the highest level without wasting my time or money. Apart from the incredible instruction I received, I also had a blast learning to fly! I met many great friends along the way whom I still keep in contact with, most of which also fly for airlines or large charter companies now. I found instructing at paragon to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I wouldn’t trade my time at the school for any other job. Training at Paragon taught me the importance of balance and showed me how to operate at an extremely high level and how to have fun while doing it. My time with Paragon fully prepared me for my next steps in an airline career and I will be forever grateful for this flight school and its community.

There are too many memories to list for me since I was there for about 9 years. I will say the biggest memory/experience while working there would be the lifelong friends that we all made. Paragon was just one big family unit and was literally the most fun job to go to everyday, especially since I was working with all of my friends!

When I worked at Paragon we were a small group of just 5 instructors. That really made it feel like a family and we had a lot of fun together sharing our passion for flying with our students. I believe that family vibe as coworkers steered me toward the corporate world of flying. My current job is a continuation of that family environment and we work very hard to fly the most important people of our company safely to their destinations and we have a lot of fun doing it at the same time!

Having been able to spend a lot of time with Paragon while I was there, I was able to form many great friendships with other Instructors, Employees, and Students.  Many of whom we all stay in contact with to this day.  My most memorable experience though by far was having our Wedding Reception in the Hangar surrounded by Friends, Family, and Various Aircraft.
