We call Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, FL, Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL, and LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA, home, and each of these flight school locations provides tower-controlled runways, multiple airfields, and nearby attractions or accommodations for any interested party.
To save our students money, we offer quite a few distinct advantages, including the use of the ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator as well as programs designed to save time and money. The P3 Program, for instance, will allow professionally minded pilot hopefuls to go from zero experience to a commercially licensed flight instructor in fewer than ten months. However, that level of speed requires dedication and availability.
The schedule itself follows four stages of training:

• 0-10 weeks – Private Pilot License (PPL) – prepares pilots to fly single-engine aircraft in visual conditions and offers a foundation for all future training
• 11-18 weeks – Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – prepares pilots to fly in instrument conditions using navigation and communication systems and tools
• 19-30 weeks – Commercial Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Licenses (CSEL and CMEL) – prepares pilots to fly for professional purposes, to a mastery standard, in single-engine and multi-engine aircraft
• 31-38 weeks – Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – prepares commercial pilots to train student-pilots.

The P3 Program concentrates on three areas – quality of training over quantity, assistance securing financing for the program, and professional development.
Interested? This intense program requires a special candidate, so our prerequisites are fairly extensive. They include all of the following requirements:

• AGE: 18 years old, minimum
• EDUCATION: high school graduate or GED recipient (some college preferred)
• CHARACTER REFERENCES: one personal and one professional
• DRIVING RECORD: clear
• CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK: clear
• FAA RECORD: clear
• COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL EVALUATION: passed
• FAA MEDICAL: 1st Class Medical Certificate
• LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: literate and fluent in the English language
• AVAILABILITY: full-time, able to participate in 10-20 hours of ground training and 4-5 flight lessons weekly
• CHARACTERISTICS: drive, ambition, integrity, and commitment.
