Choosing the right flight school is the most important step on your path to the cockpit. Paragon Flight offers highly competitive and student-centered training with proven quality, hands-on training, and top industry recognition.

Paragon is a nationally respected training institution known for our commitment to quality, safety, and student success. With award-winning instruction, industry partnerships, and a modern training environment, our graduates consistently stand out in this competitive field.
A growing pilot shortage—estimated at 30,000 by 2032—underscores the value of robust training programs. Airline partnerships, cadet pipelines, and recognized school reputations all influence early career momentum. Paragon’s accolades and curriculum design position its graduates for strong appeal among regional and commercial carriers, even without exclusive cadet agreements.
Paragon’s flagship campus is based at Page Field, a controlled (towered) airport located just south of downtown Fort Myers. Known for its strong infrastructure and focus on business and general aviation, FMY provides a professional training environment with quick access to Class C and Class D airspace.
Students also benefit from proximity to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), allowing for advanced exposure to Class B procedures. With more than 350 flyable days per year and both towered and non-towered airports nearby, FMY offers real-world complexity and efficient airspace.
Located just north of Fort Myers, Punta Gorda Airport is a growing commercial and general aviation airport with Class D airspace. It offers a controlled airport environment with less congestion than larger hubs, which allows students to maximize flight time with fewer ground delays.
The surrounding region features a variety of practice areas and satellite airports, making it ideal for both cross-country and solo operations. With a fleet that includes Piper, Cessna, and Cirrus aircraft, as well as ALSIM simulators, PGD offers a balanced training experience in a relaxed yet technical environment.
Our newest campus sits at LaGrange–Callaway Airport, a public-use, non-towered facility with two runways and minimal traffic. Located just outside the Atlanta Class B airspace, LGC offers students the ability to train in complex regional airspace while avoiding the operational delays and air traffic congestion of major commercial hubs.
The airfield supports over 300 days of consistent VFR flying and features modernized facilities, a flight planning center, and an FAA-approved simulator. Ideal for students who want hands-on, efficient training with access to both quiet practice areas and more challenging controlled airspace nearby.
When evaluating the top flight schools in the U.S., Paragon Flight stands out for our award-winning instruction, modern facilities in Florida and Georgia, and commitment to real-world readiness. Contact us today to schedule a tour or get started!
