About Us

What Makes Paragon the Right Choice

At Paragon, more than 80% of students who start training complete it, far above the industry norm. The reason comes down to three things: ownership that is in the building and genuinely invested in every student’s success, a training system called the Paragon Learning Cycle that introduces concepts on the ground before students ever set foot in the aircraft, and a program flexible enough to fit around real life without ever lowering its standards.

Students are not treated like numbers here. That is not a marketing line, it is how the school was built and how it operates every day.

The Process

The Five Steps of the Paragon Learning Cycle

Here is how the cycle works in practice, from first introduction of a concept through to in-aircraft proficiency

Introduction

New concepts are introduced through computer-based training modules, structured online lessons students complete at their own pace, on their own schedule. This is where the bulk of general knowledge is delivered. At Paragon, approximately 70–80% of the general knowledge required for flight training comes through these modules. Students can revisit topics as many times as needed without using any flight time or instructor time

Is Paragon Right for You?

The Student Who Thrives at Paragon

PARAGON’S COMMITMENT: We do not believe in sink-or-swim training. If a student is serious, willing to work, and willing to trust the process, Paragon will do everything possible to help them become a safe, confident, and competent pilot.

Flight training is not a commodity. Students are not buying a product off a shelf, they are learning to operate an aircraft safely and professionally. The quality of the environment, instruction, equipment, and support matters enormously.

The students who choose Paragon and succeed here typically share a few things in common.

  • They value quality over the lowest price.
  • They want a school that feels both professional and personal.
  • They want structure and accountability, but also want to be treated as an individual with their own goals and timeline.
  • They want to know that when training gets difficult, and it will, the school will be in their corner.

At Paragon, we sometimes say, and we mean it as a term of endearment, that we are a school of misfits. We serve a lot of students who don’t fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all training environment. Students with jobs. Parents who can only train on weekends. Students who want to immerse for a period, pause, and return. What they have in common is that they want a serious, professional training experience that meets them where they are.
