The Professional Pilot Program (P3) is specially designed to leverage solutions to common problems student pilots face. The design of this Program results in an array of credentials earned in fewer than ten months. We prioritize quality of training over quantity, measures to achieve an appropriate financial package, and the development of leadership skills.
P3 Program Timeline:

• 0-10 Weeks, Private Pilot License (PPL) – The foundation for your pilot training comes from this initial phase, making it the most important. During this step, you’ll develop the best practices to skillfully and safely man aircraft controls.
• 11-18 Weeks, Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – This second portion of the Program prepares pilots to fly using aircraft avionics, radios, communication, and navigation equipment. These skills allow pilots to fly in various conditions and are essential to commercial pilot functioning.
• 19-30 Weeks, Commercial License, Single Engine & Multi-Engine (CSEL & CMEL) – The standards for commercial pilots are high, and this Program prepares you to meet these demands well in all situations faced in a single-engine and multi-engine aircraft.
• 31-38 Weeks, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – Once pilots have a commercial license, the next step in their education should be the flight instructor certification. We at Paragon Flight give special consideration to pilots who complete our Program, and Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) can make a living while accruing flight time when applying for future positions. To become an airline pilot, you’ll need an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification and 1,500 logged flight hours.

As you can imagine, the accelerated nature of the Program demands that candidates have drive, ambition, and a strong work ethic, and we require two character references, one personal and one professional, as evidence of these characteristics. Student pilots must also be at least 18 years old, literate readers and writers and fluent speakers of English, with a high school diploma or GED, a clean MVR, FAA record, and background check. We also require a passed behavioral and cognitive evaluation and an FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate. Finally, these candidates must have full-time availability to participate in 4-5 practical flight sessions and 10-20 hours of ground training each week.
