Cargo Pilot

• A professional pilot who carries shipments of products, mail, or packages from Point A to Point B
• Responsibilities include following planned routes, loading and unloading measures, and cleaning and maintaining aircraft
• The aircraft they fly depends on the employer; the distance traveled, and the size of the load

Airline Pilot

• A professional pilot who carries passengers
• Responsible for planning routes in consideration of weather, air traffic, and other conditions
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Communicate with staff and passengers; coordinate with air traffic control

Training for These Roles
To operate as a professional pilot and receive compensation for flight services, you’ll first need to earn a Commercial Pilot License. Paragon Flight has a newly devised program that shortens the time frame and lessens the cost of training.
Prerequisites for participation in the P3 Professional Pilot Program:

• 18 years old (minimum)
• High school graduate or GED recipient (prefer college experience)
• Two character references – one personal, one professional
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Clean criminal background check
• Clean FAA record
• Positive behavioral and cognitive assessment
• FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
• Fluent and literate in English
• Full-time availability (4-5 flight lessons and 10-20 hours of ground instruction each week)
• Good moral character with drive and a quality work ethic

Timeline for the P3 Professional Pilot Program

• 0-10 Weeks Private Pilot (PPL)
• 18 Weeks Instrument Rating (IFR)
• 30 Weeks Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL and CMEL)
• 38 Weeks Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
