Paragon Flight has FAA authorization under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141. This duality allows us to provide flexible, customized programs of flight instruction as well as full-time, rigidly structured ones. As we provide flight training, we do so with excellent Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), advanced aircraft, and the most superior curriculum available. Our efforts to produce the most ready, safe pilots never waver from one pilot hopeful to another, and our repeated honors by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) speak to this standard.
A commercially licensed pilot can carry cargo or passengers for payment. Entering the profession may take the role of banner towers, sightseeing tour operators, or flight instructors. Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is especially useful since it allows pilots to become better pilots, share their passion, make a living, and accrue flight hours. Becoming an airline pilot, for instance, will require that you earn an Airline Transport Pilot certification and document 1,500 hours of flight time.
We offer a range of programs for hopeful pilots, custom-designed and prescribed, something we can provide as a FAR Part 161 and 41 approved flight school.
With the part-time approach, students can meet their regular work and family obligations while still pursuing their goals, one step at a time. We can also provide full-time scheduled training. One course, the P3 Professional Pilot Program, is meant to help fill the need for pilots in the market.

Pursue the P3 Professional Pilot Program

This 38-week program allows pilot candidates to achieve their goals in fewer than ten months. This accelerated program’s abbreviated timeline means it costs less financially. The program breaks down into four phases:

• Private Pilot (PPL), 0-10 Weeks – the foundational program that offers an opportunity to develop best practices and necessary skills to be a safe pilot who’s ready for further training;

• Instrument Flight Rating (IFR), 11-18 Weeks – the phase that trains pilots to use aircraft’s navigation and communication systems for flight in greater situations;

• Commercial License, Single Engine & Multi-Engine (CSEL & CMEL), 19-30 Weeks – phase that prepares pilots to operate with superior skill as a professional pilot of single-engine as well as multi-engine aircraft;

• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), 31-38 Weeks – the last phase of the P3 Program, where pilots learn to teach others how to fly.

The P3 Professional Pilot Program is an intense study that requires a particular type of individual for success, so the prerequisites for the course are quite high. Candidates for the P3 program should be/able to provide all of the following:

• 18 years old, minimum
• High school graduate or GED equivalency
• Two character references – one personal and one professional
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Clean FAA record
• Pass a behavioral/cognitive evaluation
• FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
• Fully available to participate in 4-5 flight lessons and 10-20 hours of ground instruction each week.
