Flight schools receive authority from the FAA through Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141. Part 61 regulations permit us to provide one-on-one, bespoke flight training courses for individual students, and Part 141 regulations prescribe a well-defined syllabus with full-time scheduling. International students, traditional students, and those with GI benefits must participate in a Part 141 flight training program.

To make that happen, you’ll need quality training to clear the FAA check rides, earn the required credentials, and log the requisite flight hours.

The Paragon Flight P3 Professional Pilot Program allows ambitious pilots to save time and money by completing their training in fewer than 10 months. The intensity of the course demands that participants be ambitious, driven, and prepared, so we have prerequisites for participation. These include all of the following:

• 18 years old minimum
• High school graduate or GED with some college preferred
• Character references – one personal and one professional
• Clean MVR, FAA record, and criminal background check
• Passed cognitive and behavioral evaluations
• FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
• Proficient, literate, and fluent in the English language
• Full-time availability to attend 4-5 flight lessons and 10-20 hours of ground training weekly
• Characteristics of professional drive, integrity, and ambition.

• Weeks 0-10 – Private Pilot License (PPL) – the foundation for all further aviation training, enables pilots to fly a single-engine plane in visual conditions;
• Weeks 11-18 – Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – next step that prepares pilots to use navigation and communication equipment within aircraft to operate in other conditions;
• Weeks 19-30 – Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL/CMEL) – prepare pilots to fly both single-engine and multi-engine planes professionally, flying cargo or passengers
• Weeks 31-38 – Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – prepares pilots to share their skills with pilot candidates seeking single-engine certifications.
