Efficient Pilot Training through Paragon Flilght’s P3 Program
- Weeks 0-10, PPL – PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE
- Key phase of the program
- Foundation for all future pilot training
- Provides pilots with knowledge of weather, avionics, aircraft, and aircraft systems – just as a beginning
- Allows pilots to fly single-engine aircraft in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) conditions
- Weeks 11-18, IFR – INSTRUMENT FLIGHT RATING
- Prepares pilots to fly in IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) conditions when visibility may be limited
- Trains pilots to use navigation and communication tools and systems
- Essential skill for working as a pilot
- Weeks 19-30, CSEL and CMEL – Commercial Single-Engine License and Commercial Multi-Engine License
- Mastery of single-engine and multi-engine flight up to professional pilot standards
- Mandated for operating as a pilot on a professional basis, i.e., accepting compensation for services
- Weeks 31-38, CFI – Certified Flight Instructor
- Ideal entry-level position for commercial pilots – allows pilots to accrue flight time, earn compensation, and improve their skills.
- Allows commercial pilots to share their skills and knowledge with others.
Prerequisites for P3 Participation
The qualifications needed to participate in the P3 Program are somewhat rigorous, but the level of candidate who will succeed in the program will be willing and able to fully commit to training for 38 weeks. The program is intense but worth it.
Do you have what it takes? Start by answering the following questions:
- Are you at least 18 years old?
- Do you have a high school diploma or GED?
- Can you provide a professional and a personal character reference?
- Is your driving record clean of infractions?
- Is your record clear of any FAA violations or infractions?
- Will you have a clean criminal background check?
- Can you pass a behavioral and cognitive evaluation?
- Do you have, or can you get a 1st Class FAA Medical Certification?
- Are you fluent and literate in the English language?
- Are you available full-time and able to participate in 4-5 flight lessons and 10-20 hours of ground training weekly?
- Do you have the drive, integrity, and work ethic needed to succeed in the P3 Program and the aviation profession as a whole?
