As you learn to fly, safety is of the utmost importance, followed closely by the effectiveness of training and fun experiences. You should enjoy the time you spend during flight training, and your work should prepare you to fly safely and skillfully. Paragon Flight offers sound aircraft for training, the best teachers in the industry, and a proven curriculum developed by a leader in the aviation world.
For single-engine training, we primarily use the Piper PA28 “Piper,” for multi-engine training, students will generally fly the PA-44 Seminole. These aircraft have long been considered the standard for their relative training scopes. We also house the Cirrus SR20 for high-performance endorsements, transition/differences training, primary instruction for some students, and rentals for one day or several. The simulator we offer is the ALSIM AL172, which is very realistic, including the Glass Cockpit technology that all of our aircraft features and allows the practical experiences we provide to translate readily in the field.
The Jeppesen Curriculum, developed through a partnership with the Boeing subsidiary, produces pilots ⅓ faster than the national average. It’s computer-based, and we will provide all the software and manuals you will need to participate and prepare for training.
Whether you come to Fort Myers or Punta Gorda in Florida or our location in LaGrange, GA, the training at Paragon Flight will be an excellent experience. We offer Part 61 and Part 141 programs and welcome veterans and international students to take part in training.
The weather in the areas where we operate is flight-friendly. The Florida locations have over 350 days of VFR conditions, and the Georgia location has over 300. Neither weather nor facility issues nor aircraft problems prevent our students from getting in the sky and practicing their craft.
Operating in an area that welcomes flight translates to a host of qualified and experienced flight instructors. Our applicant pool is a deep bench, and we use this richness to the advantage of our students. Enjoy a best-fit promise here at Paragon Flight. Your instructor and you should get along well. If you find a personality or learning style conflict, you can and should request a new instructor.
