Best Flight School In Alabama For Becoming A Commercial Pilot?

FAA-Authorized Flight Programs

At Paragon Flight, we serve pilots with private, commercial, and military training needs. When students come to us for commercial training, we understand that mastery is essential, and we provide a range of options, including accelerated programs as well as those with flexible pacing for non-traditional students.

When providing training, we do so with well-regarded flight instructors who have diverse backgrounds and experiences. We concentrate on building safe and ready pilots while also providing joyful and fun settings for memories to be made.

The practical training we provide takes place in high-quality aircraft, the standard models for our training programs. Single-engine training relies on the Piper PA28 “Pilot,” and we use the PA44 Seminole for multi-engine flight training. We even provide specialty training, high-performance endorsements, transition/differences training, and rental availability through the Cirrus SR20. Our students can even save time and money with the use of our flight simulator, the ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator.

The locations where you’ll find Paragon Flight are also incredibly appropriate. We operate out of Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, FL; Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL; and LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA – where the weather cooperates with flight training throughout the four seasons. Our students encounter minimal disruptions to practical training due to inclement weather or equipment issues.

Since we operate under dual authorizations – Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141, we can provide the rigid standards, schedule, and curriculum of the 141 type as well as the flexibility allowed under Part 61. These various options provide us with the ability to meet the needs of all potential students.

The P3 Program is of particular help to ambitious and driven students with full-time availability. The Professional Pilot Program is available for students who want to complete their training in the shortest time necessary. In 38 weeks, participants are able to complete all four stages of training:

  • Private Pilot License (PPL) – 0-10 weeks
  • Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – 11-18 weeks
  • Commercial Single-Engine and Multi-Engine License (CSEL/CMEL) – 19-30 weeks
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – 31-38 weeks.

Graduates of the P3 Program enjoy the benefit of faster training, but they also have advantages in employment opportunities, including as a flight instructor here at Paragon Flight. Working as a flight instructor is an excellent entry point into the field because instructors can continue logging flight hours while working and mastering their skills.

If the full-time availability and fast pace of the P3 Program don’t work for you, consider giving us a call for a bespoke training program.
