Our fleet is made up of industry-standard aircraft that are maintained in excellent condition. Each aircraft features a glass cockpit avionics system, qualifying our fleet as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) and allowing students to transfer their skills to new aircraft throughout their future aviation.

The fleet includes the PA-28 Piper “Pilot” for single-engine training, the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine instruction, and the Cirrus SR20 for high-performance and specialty training. We also offer an ALSIM 172 flight simulator for safe, ground-based skill development.

Becoming a Commercial Pilot

To earn income as a pilot, you’ll need a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). This credential allows you to legally get paid for various jobs, from transporting passengers or cargo to crop dusting, aerial photography, or banner towing. To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Hold a Private Pilot License (PPL)
• Obtain at least a Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
• Complete 100 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
• Pass the FAA written exam and checkride

For most commercial pilots, additional credentials such as an Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license are highly recommended. These add-ons expand job opportunities and allow you to earn income while continuing to build valuable flight hours.
