Reach Success with Paragon Flight
Our reputation for success comes from years of ensuring that our students experience success. Paragon Flight has received recognition from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) many times during its history, and we strive to provide every student with the same award-worthy training.
Whether you want to explore your interest in flight with a Discovery Flight or jump-start your professional training with the P3 Program, Paragon Flight is the school for you. You will find personalized courses of training, the Jeppesen curriculum, a diverse staff filled with experienced and well-trained Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) specifically chosen as the standard of flight training models, and an environment that is conducive to excellence.
The Paragon Flight Aircraft Fleet
The fleet of aircraft that we fly at Paragon Flight includes the Piper PA28 “Pilot” for single-engine practice, the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training, and the Cirrus SR20 for primary instruction, high-performance endorsements, transition/differences training, and rentals. We also provide access to the ALSIM AL172 flight simulator for ultra-realistic training without leaving the ground. Each one of these aircraft features Glass Cockpit technology and advanced avionics. The training received here is easily transferable to new aircraft in future experiences.
The P3 Program for Professional Pilots
When students are sure that aviation will be their future profession, the P3 Program is beneficial because it condenses training and allows students to complete training faster and less expensively. The program requires a 38-week investment in the pursuit of full-time training. During that time, we break training down into increments, each ending with credential achievement.
The P3 Program includes four different phases. The first ten weeks require pursuing a Private Pilot License (PPL), and we consider it the most important of all phases since it’s foundational for all training to come. Next, students will work toward their Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) over the next eight weeks, followed by twelve weeks devoted to mastering skills to the level of Commercial Licensing, Single Engine, and Multi-Engine (CSEL/CMEL). The last eight weeks include acquiring flight instructor certification, so students have an entry point into the occupation.
Pilots can log hours as flight instructors while earning a living in the field. Remember that any airline pilot applicant must have 1,500 flight hours logged. Paragon Flight also looks at applicants who’ve graduated from the P3 Program with a friendly eye. We already know how dedicated and skilled you must be to have completed the course.
