Parts 61 and 141 serve as guidelines for the different types of training that can be provided, and most flight schools will offer one or the other. Keep in mind that to participate in flight school using government-subsidized student loans or grants, veterans GI benefits, or an M-1 student visa, you must attend a Part 141 program.
