Flight Schools in Florida

Paragon Flight is one of the foremost flight schools in Florida due to the excellent quality of our instructors, curriculum, equipment, and facilities. Rely on our team to help you prepare for life as a private or commercial pilot.

Flight Schools in FloridaThe FAA authorizes flight schools to operate under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141. Part 61 guidelines allow us to provide one-on-one flight training with flexible pacing and scheduling, and Part 141 guidelines let us offer full-time, prescribed training for students. The dual authorization promotes our ability to meet the needs of all potential student pilots.

Since we started providing flight training in 2006, we have earned awards repeatedly for the quality of our training. The AOPA, or Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, has repeatedly honored us for our instructors and our students’ overall experience of flight training. We have also opened three different locations:

  • Paragon Flight at Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, FL [(239) 747-0056]
  • Paragon Flight at the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL [(941) 900-3131]
  • Paragon Flight at the LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA [(706) 903-9337].

Aircraft for Training at Paragon Flight

When you come to Paragon Flight for training, you can count on us to provide appropriate aircraft for all our programs.

Our primary training aircraft include the Piper PA “28” for single-engine training and the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training. We also house the Cirrus SR20 model for primary flight instruction, transition and differences training, high-performance endorsements, and single-day and multi-day rentals. The ALSIM flight simulator rounds out our fleet with an ultra-realistic cockpit and simulation for the training of various aircraft.

The entire Paragon Flight training fleet is new and well-kept. Our mechanics are FAA-authorized, and all aircraft have advanced avionics and Glass Cockpit technology.

Instruction at Paragon Flight

The instructors and curriculum at Paragon Flight are prime for instruction. The areas where we operate are quite popular with pilots, so our applicant pool is rich with well-qualified and diversely experienced flight instructors. We promise that the pilot provided will mesh with your learning style and ambitions, or we will offer a substitution upon request.

Our curriculum is also superior to what you’d find at other schools. A Boeing subsidiary produces the Jeppesen curriculum, has a computer basis, and includes all software and manuals. This curriculum makes ready pilots 30% faster than the national average.
