Aircraft

You will train in the world’s greatest aircraft – Cessna’s forgiving and reliable single-engine Skyhawk 172. The Cessna 172 makes learning to fly easier primarily because it has lower takeoff and landing speeds and is very forgiving. It’s constructed from high-tech lightweight composite material to make it fuel efficient and cost-effective. Other single-engine training aircraft include the Cessna Stationair 206 (the bigger brother to the 126).

For multi-engine training, experience the robust and lightweight Tecnam P2006T with the Garmin G950 “glass cockpit” avionics package. If you’re going for your Sport Pilot Certificate, we offer the amazing Flight Design CTLS. In fact, we have the honor of being the authorized Flight Design Pilot Center in Southwest Florida. No matter which you prefer, each of our planes is designated as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) with the most sophisticated design and safety mechanisms.

Curriculum

Paragon Flight is FAA-certified and, because we have partnered with Jeppesen, a subsidiary of Boeing and a giant in the flight training industry, we can help you earn your wings 30% faster than other flight schools. Jeppesen created the world’s finest pilot training manuals and software, and we are among the few flight schools authorized to use their materials.

Jeppesen’s Initial Certification Materials, Test Preparation and CFI Renewal courses all include a software library of Computer Aided Instruction Tools, providing visual, hands-on training to help you quickly master almost every operational task required without digging for hours, buried in manufacturer-provided manuals. Their scenario-based, guided simulation is award-winning, enabling you to easily learn at your own pace.
