Three Locations – Ideal Circumstances for Flight Training
Paragon Flight has three locations – one out of Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, FL; one out of the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL; and one in LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA. Each of these locations has a plethora of advantages, including the following:
- Climate – 350+ days each year of ideal weather for flight training
- Runways – tower-controlled and permit practice for all types of approaches
- Facilities – modern with updates for comfort, convenience, and practical experiences
- Position – proximal to several metropolitan areas for a variety of accommodations and attractions
- Airfields – numerous with varying degrees of congestion for a diversity of practical experiences.
Operating in areas with ideal circumstances for flight, Paragon Flight has the advantage of being able to choose the best of the best flight instructors. Every student will receive a best-fit match, so if you find that the instructor you’re assigned doesn’t mesh well for whatever reason, let us know. We’ll make appropriate replacement arrangements so that you experience the best possible instruction for your learning style, personality, and goals.
The Jeppesen curriculum that we provide our students operates successfully, producing skilled, safe pilots 30% faster than the national average. This curriculum includes every element needed for knowledge-based training, including the software and hard copy manuals required.
Beyond the instructors and curriculum, flight training participants need safe, predictable, and appropriate aircraft for practice. The models that we choose are the industry’s training standards – the Piper PA28 “Pilot” for single-engine flight training, the Piper PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training, and the Cirrus SR20 for primary specialty training, high-performance endorsements, transition and differences training, and rentals (one day or several).
The ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator is a very realistic way for future pilots to work toward skill mastery while avoiding the expense of aircraft rental. This unit is extremely similar to the models that we use for training and allows for a variety of modes. The entire fleet of aircraft here at Paragon Flight qualifies as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA).
