We have the most advanced twin-engine training aircraft in the world, the Tecnam P2006T with the Garmin G950 “glass cockpit” avionics package. The plane has powerful Rotax engines but is very lightweight, enabling it to burn only 10 gallons of fuel per hour, which translates into lower training costs. In terms of time, Dad can accomplish a multi-engine rating in 8 to 15 hours or an IFR rating in under 35 hours of ground and flight training.
