Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Governing Procedures

Airline Pilot InstructionThe flight school that you choose will depend on your situation and the FAR guidance most suited to your needs. Paragon Flight has worked to qualify as both a FAR Part 161 and Part 41 flight school so that we can honor the needs of all potential students.

For students requiring flexibility to accommodate competing life obligations, Part 61 flexibility is more important, and for students from other countries or with financial aid packages, the Part 141 full-time structure is required.

We employ the Jeppesen Curriculum, created by a Boeing affiliate and proven to work 30% faster than the national average. Ground training will be thorough and sufficient for safe practical training and clearing the knowledge-based written and oral examinations.

The practical training will commence in a safe and appropriate aircraft. Each of them is classified as Technically Advanced with Glass Cockpit technology and modern avionics. Our fleet of equipment includes the Cessna C172S Skyhawk, Piper PA-44-180 Seminole, Cessna T182T Skylane, Cirrus SR20 G6, Cirrus SR22 G5/G6, and the ALSIm AL172 Flight Simulator.

Providing the training, the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) provided to you at Paragon Flight will be capable, experienced, and fully prepared. Your every expectation will be fully met and more by our instructors. They’re diversely experienced regarding the aircraft as well as the conditions. We will go out of our way to provide the best-fit flight instructor for your purposes.
