Fast-Tracked Pilot Credentials via P3 at Paragon Flight
The aviation industry desperately needs qualified pilots, so Paragon Flight offers the P3 Program to exceptional candidates. This program focuses on quality over quantity of training, professional development, and helping secure the funding to afford training. We’ve determined that this three-tiered system allows the right people to work toward careers.
The P3 Schedule
Intensive and fast, the P3 schedule can be intimidating, but if candidates are focused and driven, the timeline is more than doable. Rely on our team and our outstanding facilities to have you in the right position to clear all of your FAA check rides and examinations.
During the program, you’ll earn the following credentials:
- Private Pilot License (PPL) – WEEKS 0-10
- The foundational stage for all future flight training
- Focused on developing good professional habits and following research-based best practices
- Omitted from the program for students with an existing PPL
- Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – WEEKS 11-18
- Permits pilots to fly in IFR conditions when weather, clouds, etc, hamper visibility.
- Trains pilots to use navigation and communication systems and tools
- It is essential for any commercial pilot, no matter the exact field chosen
- Commercial License, Singe-Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL and CMEL) – WEEKS 19-30
- Allows pilots to fly for pay (required by law)
- Provides training for single-engine and multi-engine aircraft
- Holds pilots to a very high standard of mastery, as befitting a license that allows pilots to haul cargo or passengers
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – WEEKS 31-38
- Trains commercial pilots to train others
- It is an ideal entry point into the vocation, especially for pilots with airline ambitions, who can rack up flight hours while making a living.
As we said, it takes an exceptional candidate to succeed in this program, so we have a high standard for participation. We can provide some exceptions, but in general, here are our prerequisites for admission to the P3 Program:
- 18 years old, minimum
