Airline Pilot School Tampa
Climb the ladder to the cockpit as an airline pilot with training at Paragon Flight in Fort Myers, an outstanding flight school with all of the necessary elements, a short drive away from Tampa.
One of the first things to consider when choosing a flight school is the FAA authorization. The Federal Aviation Authority, or FAA, authorizes flight schools for operation under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141. Flight schools generally fall under one or the other guidelines, but Paragon Flight provides both.
With dual authorization, Paragon Flight is able to provide the structure and full-time scheduling of a Part 141 authorized flight school at the same time that we welcome students with full schedules and numerous obligations who need flexibility in pacing and timing due to our Part 61 authorization.
No matter the career in aviation you have planned, come to Paragon Flight for appropriate training and flight opportunities. The initial step that allows you to work in the field is to get a commercial pilot license.
From the very beginning of your interactions with Paragon Flight, we will place you as the center of your training by designing a personalized plan of flight instruction based upon your goals, prior experience, and availability.
A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) permits pilots to make a living in the sky. The range of jobs available for pilots goes much further than you might imagine. From an astronaut to the captain or co-captain of an airliner, private plane pilot, cargo package delivery pilot, medic pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, agricultural pilot, and more, pilots are able to pursue their own niche within the aviation field.
Train for Your Pilot Ambitions
If you’re completely inexperienced in the field, your first step will be to get your Private Pilot License (PPL). We welcome you to Paragon Flight from this point and going forward.
Requirements for earning your Private Pilot License include that you be a minimum of 18 years old, speak and read English, and have a 1st or 2nd Class Medical Certificate.
We will provide all of the ground and practical training needed for you to pass the written exam and practical checkride. This training is available here for both the private and commercial license, as well as single- and multi- engine training, instrument rating instruction, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training. The broad access for flight time facilitates the documentation of the 1,500 flight hours required for becoming a certified Airline Transport Pilot.
During your training, the aircraft flown will be safe, currently equipped, and appropriate for the training in question. Our fleet is incredibly well-kept and qualified as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) with Glass Cockpit Technology. As you transition from training to the real world, you won’t be unfamiliar with the cockpit.
In addition to the aircraft you’ll fly, Paragon Flight supplies only the best Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs). You’ll find that our staff includes a plethora of personality types, teaching strategies, and diverse experiences. By using the Jeppesen curriculum, we’re able to speed up the sufficiency of our training beyond the national average.
