Prerequisites for participation include:

  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • High school graduate or GED recipient (college preferred)
  • Personal character reference and a professional character reference
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Pass a behavioral/cognitive test
  • No enforcement actions by FAA or aviation incidents or accidents
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Full-time availability (4-5 flight sessions and 10-20 hours of ground training/week)
  • High moral character, strong work ethic, driven
