We now offer the P3 Professional Pilot Program that’s designed with driven, career-minded candidates in mind. If your end goal is an airline cockpit and you meet the following qualifications, consider the benefits the program offers:

  • At least 18 years old
  • GED or high school diploma (college preferred)
  • Character references (one personal; one professional)
  • Clean MVR, FAA record, and background check
  • Pass a cognitive and behavioral assessment
  • 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • Able to read and write English well
  • Full-time availability
  • Driven and ambitious with good moral character and work ethic

Participating in the P3 Program makes it possible to go from no flight experience to acquisition of the following credentials in less than ten months time:

  • Private Pilot (PPL) 1-10 weeks
  • Instrument Rating (IFR) 18 weeks
  • Commercial License, Single- and Multi-Engine (CSEL and CMEL) 30 weeks
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) 38 weeks

As a commercially licensed Certified Flight Instructor, you’ll be able to enter the aviation field. If you choose to serve as a flight instructor, you’ll make a living, perfect your skills, and document flight hours. Bear in mind that when applying for an airline pilot position, you’ll need to have earned your Airline Transport Pilot Certification and logged 1,500 hours of flight time.

Aviation education never really ends. Once you work for an airline, you’ll need to renew licensing and upgrade certifications each time you fly a new model of aircraft.
