Ready to Become a Pilot?

The time is perfect for you to become a pilot. Airlines are searching throughout the globe for qualified pilots. This growing industry creates a need for pilots that grows at the same pace as increased flight.

Time Requirements for Aviation Education

The time that it will take for you to become an airline pilot depends on how much time you have to commit. Initially, you can become a private pilot in a couple of months, and in the time after, you can assume around two additional years as you earn more credentials and accumulate hours in the sky. You’ll need at least 1,500 flight hours before being allowed to fly for an airline.

The Personalized Approach to Flight Training

At Paragon Flight, we put student-pilots at the center of our plans. We personalize programs for the individual so that we’re able to meet the demands of the busy lifestyle or the schedule of a full-time student.

The Path toward the Cockpit

An FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) is essential to an airline pilot because you’re not allowed to be compensated for your services without it, but before this step, you will need to have a Private Pilot License (PPL). Additional credentials for student-pilots include Instrument Flight Rating (IFR), Commercial License Training for either Single or Multi-Engine Aircraft, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII). All of these programs are available here at Paragon Flight.

The programs pursued at Paragon Flight include ground and practical training along with all of the elements needed to thoroughly prepare you for the required evaluations.

The Certified Flight Instructors (CFI/CFII) on staff at Paragon Flight are the best available. Southwest Florida, being a haven for pilots, offers plenty of experienced and qualified pilots, so we’re able to hire the absolute best. Your instructor will work with you to readiness.

Pilots come here for the weather and the opportunities for flight. We experience 350 days of perfect for takeoff weather, and the airport we operate out of, Page Field, is the hub of general and business aviation in the area. As you accumulate your 1,500 hours of logged time, you’ll have plenty of time to do so here.

The fleet here is filled with Technically Advanced Aircraft, outfitted with Glass Cockpit Technology and advanced avionics, and ideal for the credentials being pursued. We maintain single-engine, multi-engine, sporting planes, and the best simulator available.
