Airline Pilot Training SchoolThe P3 Professional Pilot Program was born as a response to the urgent need for pilots and the opportunity for significant salary and job satisfaction that the need creates. This program builds upon three critical aspects of training:

  • Financial facilitation.

Fly with Paragon Flight

Paragon Flight prioritizes the flight training experience for each student pilot. We offer custom programs driven by individual customer circumstances, goals, availability, and budget.

We are an award-winning flight training program. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the premiere aviation advocacy group in the US, has repeatedly honored our organization for the quality of our flight training.

Three Paragon Flight locations serve our students. Our primary location called Page Field in Fort Myers, FL, home, and we have two satellite locations, one in Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL, and the other in LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA. We operate in areas where the weather allows for takeoff and landing over 300 days of the year. Each facility has tower-controlled runways, modern facilities, and nearby accommodations for budgets of all sizes.

At Paragon Flight, you’ll find a wealth of qualified flight instructors. We provide a best-fit instructor promise, meaning that if your personality doesn’t mesh with your instructor’s, we will provide a substitute. Our team of flight instructors includes experts to guide you through learning to fly single-engine and multi-engine aircraft and use navigation and communication equipment.

Just as we provide flight instructors for all types of instruction, we house all standard aircraft within our training fleet. Each fleet member features Glass Cockpit technology and Advanced Avionics, certifying them as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA). For single-engine training, we offer the Piper PA28 “Pilot and the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine flight training.

The Cirrus SR20 offers the following:

  • Primary flight instruction
  • High-performance endorsements
  • Transition and differences training
  • Single- and multi-day rentals.

Rounding out our fleet is the ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator, which allows student pilots to perfect their skills without leaving the ground.

Understanding the P3 Program

The Professional Pilot Program (P3) greatly benefits ambitious pilots. This intense program allows participants to reach their goals quickly and affordably.

Phase One – 0-10 weeks – Private Pilot License (PPL) – foundational phase for all flight training that provides pilots with an understanding of the basics and the development of good habits.

Phase Two – 11-18 weeks – Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) – The next phase that prepares new pilots to fly in non-visual conditions while using navigation and communication equipment.

Phase Three – 19-30 weeks – Commercial License, Single Engine and Multi-Engine (CSEL/CMEL) – phase that allows pilots to develop mastery level skills operating single-engine and multi-engine aircraft.

Phase Four – 31-38 weeks – Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – the phase that trains pilots to share their skills with others while making a living and accumulating flight hours. Once you complete this program, you must log at least 1,500 hours and earn an ATP certification before applying to major airlines.
