Veteran Benefits

Liberty University participates in the Yellow Ribbon program, which allows eligible students to continue training once their annual GI Bill® funding has been exceeded. Liberty does not have an annual cap on Yellow Ribbon programs.

The Veterans Administration Post-9/11 GI Bill program entitles veterans, their spouses, or their dependent children the opportunity to be awarded 100% of their educational expenses, including a housing stipend.

High School Early/Dual Enrollment

High school students who live close to qualifying Cessna Pilot Centers like Paragon Flight can now earn their private pilot certificate while they earn college credit through the Liberty Online Academy.  Participation in the dual enrollment program may help you finish the program in less time.

Federal Financial Aid

Enrolling with Liberty University and Paragon Flight, a Flight Training Affiliate, enables students to use Federal Financial Aid such as scholarships, grants and loans.

Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) Program

Liberty University offers the Restricted ATP program, commonly known as the reduced-hour ATP program. Graduates may be eligible for the ATP certificate with 1,250 hours total flight time as long as they complete their Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Certificate through an approved location, such as Paragon Flight, and graduate with a Liberty University Aeronautics Degree.
