Paragon Flight’s two Florida locations are at Page Field in Fort Myers and the Punta Gorda Airport in Punta Gorda. These flight schools enjoy modern facilities, suitable runways for practicing takeoff and landing, and nearby practice airfields. We function as a dual-authorized flight school under FAR Parts 141 and 61 guidelines. Part 141 programs are highly structured, full-time courses that cater to traditional students with student loans, scholarships, and grants; veterans with GI benefits; and international students on an M-1 Student Visa, and Part 61 programs offer the one-on-one training and schedule flexibility needed by non-traditional students with established careers and family obligations.
When we hire flight instructors, we can do so from a group of highly trained and experienced professionals. Being a favorite place for pilots, we can recruit the absolute best of the best for our students’ benefit. Students here also have a best-fit promise, and we’ll provide a new instructor when students find that the pairing doesn’t work for whatever reason.
The aircraft fleet at Paragon Flight is also fully appropriate for flight training. Every piece of equipment we house is equipped with Glass Cockpit technology and advanced avionics for skill acquisition that is readily transferable to the cockpits of today’s aircraft. Specifically, we offer the following models:
- Piper PA28 “Pilot” – single-engine flight training
- PA-44 Seminole – multi-engine flight training
- Cirrus SR20 – primary instruction, high-performance endorsements, transition and differences training, and aircraft rentals
- ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator – cost-saving simulation on the ground with exact replicas of training cockpits
The Jeppesen curriculum, developed by the Boeing subsidiary, is available to select institutions chosen for the quality of the institution. We’re proud to be one of the few to use this system.
