The Goals of Your Flight Training
Before beginning your flight training, consider the type of pilot you plan to become. Do you plan to make a living in the sky, or is it just a hobby pursuit? Plan out the steps required to meet your goals, and this information will inform your planned program of training.
Here at Paragon Flight, we offer a range of flight instruction including private pilot training, commercial pilot training, instrument rating, multi-engine rating, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI) training. Establish a Relationship with an Instructor
Approaching your aviation education, as with any other goal, is easier with an expert in the field on your side. At Paragon Flight, we’re happy to pair you with a flight instructor for this purpose. You’ll have one-on-one instruction throughout your flight instruction experience. All of our flight instructors are some of the best pilots in the world and submit to rigorous screening and hiring processes. Feel comfortable requesting a flight instructor with whom you feel comfortable. Your personalities should mesh, and the flight instructor should be willing to work with your learning style.
Consider the Level of Flexibility You Require
The FAA authorizes flight school operations through Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 61 and 141. Part 61 schools allow for more flexibility including accelerated programs and part-time availability while Part 141 schools are highly structured, full-time programs.
Paragon Flight is able to provide both since we’re authorized under both FAR Parts 141 and 61.
Evaluate the Training Aircraft
The flight school that you choose should have the aircraft needed for your training program, and the aircraft should be in good condition. To ensure that you’re able to log flight hours on your own schedule, ensure that the school has enough aircraft for access.
Paragon Flight houses the Cessna C172S Skyhawk for single-engine training, the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training, and the Cessna T182T Skylane, Cessna C206H Stationair, and Cirrus SR20 and SR22 G5/G6 for specialty training. Our fleet is outfitted with Glass Cockpit Technology and qualifies as Technically Advanced Aircraft.
Consider Budgeting and Financing
Cost is a factor for most student-pilots. We’ll be happy to walk you through the project costs of your training as well as all of the financial options. From grants to student loans, veterans benefits, and personal loans, your dreams don’t have to be derailed over funding.
Schedule Your Discovery Flight
Before signing on for a flight training program, schedule a Discovery Flight with Paragon Flight. We’ll take you through a tour, provide an initial ground training lesson, and put you in the sky with a flight trainer. This time can even count toward your required hours, and you’ll get control of the plane for a short period.
Prepare for safe, fun flight at the best pilot academy in the USA, Paragon Flight. In your search for the right flight school, we surpass all expectations.
