Learn to Fly with the Standard Aircraft for Training

Cessna 172 Training ManualThe world’s most popular aircraft, the Cessna Skyhawk 172, is the best option for single-engine flight training. It’s safer and more predictable, with lower landing speeds and easier flight. The Cessnas within our fleet are equipped with advanced Garmin G1000 glass cockpit avionics for training that will easily transfer to other aircraft.

If your aviation ambitions lead you elsewhere, we can also accommodate those plans. The fleet includes a Piper PA28 “Pilot” as a streamlined training aircraft and the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training.

Specialty training aircraft within our fleet consists of the Cessna T182T Skylane, Cirrus SR20, Cirrus SR22 G5/G6, and the ALSIM Flight Simulator.

Learn to Fly with the Jeppesen Curriculum

The Jeppesen curriculum, created by a Boeing subsidiary, is proven to help pilots complete training 30% faster than the national average. We’re proud to be able to use this complete curriculum system to help our student pilots complete their training quickly, with greater results in terms of safety and skills.

Learn to Fly on Your Timetable

Flight training always requires practical training to learn skills and master them. Fort Myers has excellent weather for takeoff and landing all year long, for delay-free practice over 350 days of the year. Sessions may be canceled frequently in other areas due to inclement weather, but not here.

We also operate out of Page Field, the major flight provider in Southwest Florida, so our students enjoy access to a tower-controlled runway for mastery of skills. Several practice airfields offer opportunities for a safe introduction to controls as well.

Learning to fly well requires a quality flight instructor. With its wealth of Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), we leverage our location to hire the absolute best flight instructors. Our student pilots receive a best-fit promise of a flight instructor. If you find that yours doesn’t complement your personality or learning style, simply request another.

If the financial aspects of flight training are holding you back, call to speak to our team. We’ll help you find your way through the clutter of options and application procedures. We’re familiar with the various resources available. Depending on your situation and your program, you may qualify for grants, scholarships, or student loans as a financial package, or you may need contacts for a reputable source of personal lending.
