Commercial Airline Pilot Training Schools
The thrill of daily flying and the prestige of wearing Captain’s wings make pursuing a commercial airline pilot position worth every effort, and Paragon Flight is one of the best training schools to provide an aviation education.
Earning a position as an airline pilot will require that you complete a series of steps to earn certifications and training that the role demands. The FAA, or Federal Aviation Administration has stringent requirements for airline pilots, and various airlines will also have specific qualifications.
Paragon Flight has dual-authorizations by the FAA. We operate under FAR Parts 141 and 61, so we’re in a position to best meet all of our pilot candidates’ needs. Positioned in Page Field in Fort Myers, FL, we experience 350+ days of aviation ready weather for plenty of opportunity for documenting flight hours.
The Role of an Airline Pilot
Airline pilots fly aircraft passengers and crew from one airport to the next. This heady responsibility demands navigational skill, expertise in specialized equipment, and mastery of all aircraft systems. The Pilot in Command (PIC) is known as the captain, and the Second in Command is the first officer. This partnership responsibly and safely performs all duties from inspection through touchdown.
The aircraft flown by airline pilots are multi-engine craft, so this training is part of the requirements for the post. These pilots must deal with weather, mechanical issues, radar, and air traffic control commands.
Paragon Flight provides all of the training needed to become an airline pilot. Beginning with a private pilot license and progressing to commercial pilot licensing, a multi-engine rating, and instrument rating. We also provide the ideal platform for logging the required 1,500 flight hours.
The mission of Paragon Flight is to prepare pilots for safe flight in all conditions. The success that we achieve in meeting this goal is well-known. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), one of the nation’s premiere aviation advocacy groups, has recognized us for excellence numerous times over the years.
