Multi-Engine Add-On Program at Paragon Flight

Already have a Commercial Pilot License for single-engine aircraft? Ready to level up to multi-engine aircraft? Paragon Flight can help.

We offer a course that you can complete in less than a week. This fully immersive and accelerated program includes:

  • 11-15 hours of multi-engine flight training
  • 5 hours of ground training
  • 1 ½ hours of time for the FAA check ride
  • Supplemental training materials.

Earning this credential as an add-on rather than during initial commercial flight training requires 20 hours of flight time and 5 hours of ground training fewer than when earned as an add-on endorsement.

The multi-engine training, no matter when pursued, will focus on the differences between single-engine and multi-engine flight. If an engine fails, pilots face two issues – power loss and control loss. The imbalanced thrust can lead to dangerous flight conditions. Multi-engine training will prepare you to deal with one-engine inoperative (OEI) conditions and normal operations safely.

The Piper PA-44 Seminole is the industry standard for multi-engine flight training, and it’s the aircraft that we use at Paragon Flight as well. The aircraft is predictable and safe, and it features Glass cockpit technology as well.

Expand Potential as a Professional

As a multi-engine professional pilot, you’ll have a much greater job outlook than that of a single-engine pilot. Travel opportunities, excellent pay and benefits, and a life of adventure awaits when you come to Paragon Flight for training.
