Commercial Multi-Engine Add-on Fort Myers, FloridaParagon Flight provides student-pilots with the opportunity to learn with the best instructors, curriculum, and aircraft in the world. We utilize the ultimate standard in curriculum and aircraft, and we hire the best of the best Certified Flight Instructors.

The goal of the staff of Paragon Flight is to produce safe and joyful pilots. The commercial pilot program we offer complies with all FAA requirements, and you simply have to speak with a few of our former students to verify our commitment and capacity for training. If your love of the sky is genuine, transform that passion into a career by completing a commercial pilot course of training.

Before Beginning

If you plan to earn your keep in the cockpit, you must have a commercial pilot license. With only a private pilot license, you can accept no remuneration for your services.

At Paragon Flight, the program will focus on the key points of flight, and we offer endorsements that add onto a license, including the multi-engine rating. As you work your way up the ladder of aviation education, the first rung should be earning your commercial license.

Paragon Flight is both a Part 61 and Part 141 flight school. As such, we’re able to provide flexible scheduling and pacing of curriculum. Consider these requirements for the Commercial Pilot License under the Part 61 guidelines:

  • 250 flight hours (100 hours in powered aircraft/50 hours in airplanes)
  • 100 flight hours as PIC, or Pilot in Command (50 in airplanes)
  • 50 cross country flight hours (10 in airplanes)
  • 20 hours of instruction (10 – instrument, 10 – complex or TAA, mix of cross country and practical test preparation)
  • 10 hours solo flight (mix of cross country and night flight)

If you prefer a FAR Part 141 training program, the logged flight hours will be a 190 total. The Part 141 program is more structured, without the flexibility of the Part 61 course.
