The key feature of multi-engine training is preparation for engine failure. When one engine goes out and the other remains, two problems present themselves: loss of power and loss of control. The loss of power comes from half of the engine no longer working, and the loss of control stems from asymmetrical force.
The training aircraft that we employ is the Piper PA-44 Seminole. It’s considered the standard for multi-engine training because of its predictability, simplicity, all-metal strength, and reliability. Our entire fleet is Technically Advanced and features advanced avionics.
Choose Paragon Flight for Multi-Engine Training
You should choose Paragon Flight for multi-engine training for the same reasons that you choose us for any training: our location, instructors, curriculum, facilities, equipment, history, passion, and more!
One factor that can’t be replicated is our location. Southwest Florida is a haven for pilots, offering beautiful weather and flight conditions and plenty of facilities for practical training. Page Field in Fort Myers offers a tower-controlled runway, and the Punta Gorda Airport in Punta Gorda has three different runways. From the divine weather to the accommodating facilities, our students have no shortage of opportunities for flight.
The remarkable nature of the area for aviation pursuits leads to a wealth of flight instructors applying to our school. We choose the best in order to provide our students with an incredibly successful training experience.
Paragon Flight shares our passion for flight in a variety of programs. We’re authorized by the FAA as a Part 61 and 141 flight school. Students can enjoy a custom-designed course or a rigidly followed prescribed course.
Since 2006, Paragon Flight has worked to help students develop their skills as pilots with a range of courses. Become a private pilot, secure your instrument rating, commercial license, multi-engine privileges, and flight instructor certification with us.
We even provide a 38-week course that will allow you to progress from zero experience to a commercially licensed pilot of single and multi engine aircraft with flight instructor certification. This program is the Professional Pilot Program (P3) and requires a diligent, driven, and ambitious candidate.
