Expand On Your Aviation Ambitions
Now that you have a single-engine commercial pilot license, level up your training with a multi-engine add-on to supplement this license. You’ll be able to fly higher and faster and open up your job prospects immensely.
The Paragon Flight Multi-Engine Add-On Program is an 11-15 hour course that you can finish in a single week. Of course, if you want additional training or flight time, we can accommodate those needs. We are a student-driven institution where our ultimate goal is to produce safe and ready pilots.
This program is accelerated, so participants need to be dedicated and focused. The Multi-Engine Add-On course consists of 11-15 hours of multi-engine flight training, 5 hours of classroom instruction, 1 ½ hours for the check ride, and supplemental training materials.
If you would like to pursue your multi-engine credentials at the same time as your initial license, we can provide this training as well. You should expect 35 hours of multi-engine flight training and 10 hours of classroom instruction.
Focus of Multi-Engine Training
When you transition to flying an aircraft with two engines instead of one, you can expect greater power, faster speeds, and higher altitudes. If one of these engines should fail, the resulting imbalance can lead to a loss of control, and counter measures must be mastered during this type of training. We will train you to appropriately react to normal and one-engie operations during all stages of flight.
Our training program utilizes the Piper PA-44 Seminole, the standard of twin-engine training across the globe. This aircraft flies predictably, has an all-metal body, and straightforward aircraft systems. This plane, like all of our training fleet, features Glass Cockpit Technology to ensure that your training is easily transferable to the planes you’ll be flying in the field.
Train with Paragon Flight
The FAA regulates flight schools through Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). Part 61 guidelines govern flexible, part-time training, and Part 141 training covers full-time, strictly regimented programs that follow a prescribed syllabus. With both sets of authorization, we’re able to create a custom program to fully meet our students’ plans, current statuses, and goals.
When you train with Paragon Flight, you can be sure that you’ll be prepared to pass your check ride.
Paragon Flight uses the Jeppesen curriculum for training purposes. From weather conditions to aerodynamics, systems, vocabulary, flight plans, rules and regulations, and every other facet of aviation will be covered in your course.
The ground training that we provide will be followed by plenty of practice. We’ll help you master takeoff, landing, night flight, cross-country flight, etc. Real-life scenarios and all conditions will play a role in your training.
