FAA Approved Flight Schools
Paragon Flight is one of the premier FAA-approved flight schools in the United States. We operate under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 141 and 61, allowing us to differentiate flight instruction for every student we serve. We’re an ideal provider if you need instruction for personal, commercial, or military pursuits.
If you’re beginning with no experience, you’ll start by earning your Private Pilot License (PPL). This training period is ultimately the most important since it establishes a foundation of best practices and good habits as a pilot, along with a clear understanding of aviation and an aircraft’s systems.
Our students practice single-engine flight skills in the PA28 Piper “Pilot” aircraft. As is our entire fleet, this machine features Glass Cockpit technology and advanced avionics for an easy transition to any aircraft of today, and it is well-kept by an FAA-authorized mechanic.
From there, aviation training is up to the Pilot. Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) training allows students to use an aircraft’s navigation and communication systems to fly in conditions other than visual flight conditions. Most pilots will choose to secure this rating.
From that point, pilots may pursue commercial licensing to work as professionals or work toward adding a multi-engine rating as a private pilot. Different pilots will choose the avenues best for their goals, but we at Paragon Flight can help with all of these training programs.
We can create custom programs to cater to our clients’ individual schedules, goals, and budgets. We strive to offer quality training based on customer needs.
Choosing Paragon Flight is an excellent option for pilots who care about their experiences and training quality. We have perfected all branches of training for a superior result.
Our location(s) are carefully considered for the benefit of our students. We have three flight schools – two in Southwest Florida and one in Georgia. Our locations offer modern facilities, practice-friendly weather conditions all year long, nearby cities for a greater choice of accommodations, and more.
The aircraft within our fleet are essential to training as well. In addition to the Pilot we use for single-engine training, we house the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine training and the Cirrus SR20 for primary training, high-performance endorsements, transition/differences training, and aircraft rentals.
Of course, we also prioritize instructors and curriculum. We hire the absolute best instructors available, ensuring we provide diverse experience and a best-fit promise. The Jeppesen curriculum rounds out our instruction, a proven method that produces prepared pilots 30% faster than the national average.
