Flight Training Miami
If you’re scouring the country from Miami to Modesto for the ultimate flight training program, you’ll find it at Paragon Flight in Fort Myers, FL. We’re able to provide a student-centered experience without sacrificing an iota of quality.
Calling All Aspiring Pilots
Safe, fun, and more than sufficient, Paragon Flight has dual authorization, as we operate under FAR parts 141 and 61. With broad authority, we’re able to welcome all aspiring pilots – from busy working professionals to international students with an M1 Student Visa.
A Part 141 flight program is highly structured. It follows a prescribed curriculum and schedule and requires full-time attendance. Non-citizens without resident status, veterans with GI benefits, and students with financial aid packages must participate in this type of program.
A Part 61 flight program, however, is flexible in pacing and sequencing. It’s ideal for established adults with limited availability, but the program does require more independent study and drive.
In the end, the licenses earned will be the same, as will be the FAA checkrides that you’ll have to pass to earn those credentials.
Every course includes ground training and practical training, i.e. classroom and cockpit, respectively.
Staffing with Quality
The flight instructors at Paragon Flight offer skill, experience, and a versatility of regional and aircraft expertise. Being a paradise for pilots, Southwest Florida is overflowing with Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), and our students reap the rewards. If you, as a student-pilot at Paragon Flight, discover that your Certified Flight Instructor doesn’t jive with your personality or learning style, request a substitution. We recognize how important collaboration is during the learning process.
Flying Year-Round
The area is so much of a draw to pilots because of the weather. Over 350 days of the year exhibit clear skies – clear for takeoff! Since we’re also operating out of the area’s major airport, we provide students with access to a tower-controlled runway and several practice fields. Whether you’re beginning or logging hours to become an airline pilot, you’ll have no obstacles to the sky here at Paragon Flight.
Training with Elite Jeppesen Curriculum
The Jeppesen program of curriculum is the absolute best in the industry. Not only is it developed by a subsidiary of Boeing, but it has been proven to produce prepared, safe pilots 30% faster than the national average.
Flying the Standard of Training Aircraft
When you participate in the practical components of your program, the aircraft you fly will be appropriate for your program, new, well-kept, and qualified as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA). Our goal is to provide training that is readily transferable to aircraft that you will fly in the future, so we use predictable, safe, models and equip them with advanced tech features.
Striving to Set the Standard of Flight Training
At Paragon Flight, we work to continuously improve. Since 2006 when we first began providing flight training, we have developed the components, the staff, and the best practices needed to fully meet the needs of our students.
Over the years, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) has recognized us as one of the best flight schools in the country, and we work daily to deserve that recognition.
