Accolade-Deserving Flight Training

The awards given to Paragon Flight by the AOPA, or Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, are a few obvious reasons to choose our flight school. Year after year, we have been honored for the quality of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) and the overall flight training experience. The standards that earned us these accolades are the same ones that we work toward daily. Each student-pilot matters to us on an individual level.

Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141 govern the work of Paragon Flight. The dual approval makes it possible for us to offer an appropriate flight program for all qualified student-pilots. A Part 61 program will work for those with short terms of opportunity for training while on vacation or sabbatical, and our Part 141 programs welcome traditional students, veterans with GI funds, and foreign students with an M-1 student visa.

The Airline Pilot Program

The average student who comes to Paragon Flight for airline pilot training should expect to spend 7-11 months in preparation, depending on the starting point.

The typical path consists of the acquisition of credentials as follows:

  • Private pilot certificate
  • Instrument flight rating
  • Commercial pilot certificate (Single-Engine or Multi-Engine)
  • Multi-engine Rating (supplements single-engine commercial pilot certificate)
  • Certified Flight Instructor (I/II/MEI) – optional

The Prescreening Process

Before beginning the process to become an airline pilot, call to schedule a prescreening. We will review your goals and a skills assessment to make sure that you’re a candidate. Then, we will design a personalized course that will help you reach your goals with minimal time and expense.

Only after defining the course will we be able provide an accurate cost and schedule estimate. Line by line, you will know what you need to do, how long it will take, and how much it will cost.

Financing for Your Flight Program

Enrolling with Paragon Flight will begin with an introduction to the student ambassador team to provide you with all of the information required to proceed, and throughout your course of instruction, the student ambassador will be available to help.
