Part 141 or Part 61

List of FAA Part 141 Flight SchoolsThe FAA governs flight schools via Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and Parts 141 and 61 define the instruction structure. Part 141 programs have a defined curriculum and full-time participation, while Part 61 courses allow for one-on-one instruction with flexibility in timing and scheduling. Paragon Flight is one of the few schools with both authorizations so that we can curate programs specifically in light of our students’ needs.

Having Part 141 authorization also allows us to welcome students with GI funds, government-supported student loans, grants, and international students with M-1 student visas. These students must attend a Part 141 program. Choose us—not just because of our status but because we value your education. We strive to help pilots become safe and ready and have a good time in the process.

About Paragon Flight

Paragon Flight, established in 2006, has three locations for greater choice and convenience. We have two locations in Southwest Florida – Page Field Airport (FMY) in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda – and one in Georgia at LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange. These locations enjoy weather that welcomes practical flight training all year long.

The flight schools offer students modern facilities, tower-controlled runways, minimally congested airspaces, and every element needed for outstandingly successful experiences. Our efforts have consistently earned AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) recognition. Honors from this leading aviation advocate mean something.

Our training fleet is comprehensively equipped with Glass Cockpit technology. We primarily offer the Piper 28 “Pilot” for single-engine flight training and the PA-44 Seminole for multi-engine flight training. For high-performance endorsements, primary training, differences, and transition training and rentals, we offer the Cirrus SR20. We even have the ALSIM AL172 flight simulator to save money as you hone your skills with a very realistic simulated flight experience.

The Jeppesen curriculum used by Paragon Flight is world-class. It’s developed by a subsidiary of Boeing, and research has shown that the computer-based curriculum is 30% faster than the national average time required for flight training. We’ll provide the full system with all software, hard copies, and manuals needed for your preparation.

When students choose Paragon Flight, we will create a planned journey that will help them reach their goals within the schedule the student has available. This journey may include Part 141 or Part 61 courses, sometimes a combination.
