Miami Flight Training Centers

As one of the best flight training centers in the country, Paragon Flight programs are well worth the trip from Miami, Memphis, or Minneapolis. Our best practices and components are the standard of quality flight training, and we tailor individual courses to meet the needs of each student.

Miami Flight Training CentersOne sign that points toward the excellence we deliver is the fact that Paragon Flight is approved by the FAA to operate under FAR Parts 61 and 141. We meet all of the guidelines related to our facilities, instructors, and training. Perhaps more importantly, the location we offer eliminates the challenges that weather poses to flight opportunities in other locales.

Critical Branches of Quality Flight Instruction

When the curriculum used is designed by the leaders of the industry, you can have faith in its quality. The Jeppesen curriculum comes from a Boeing subsidiary and is used by select flight training schools, of which we happen to be one. This program allows pilots to complete training 30% faster without any decrease of quality and includes all of the software and materials required.

Implementing this curriculum must be qualified Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs). Paragon Flight, located at Page Field in Fort Myers, FL, is a mecca to pilots. The abundance of skilled applicants allows us to deliver diversity of experiences and absolute dedication to our students. Become the best when you train with the best.

What flight training program would be complete without aircraft? Unfortunately, many programs force you to travel to another location when the time comes to fly. At Paragon Flight, we have every model needed for our students to practice what we teach. From sporting planes to single- and multi-engine aircraft, our fleet is comprehensive; we even offer the use of a top-of-the-line simulator. Best of all, every one of our aircraft qualifies as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), with advanced avionics and Glass Cockpit technology. The skills you perfect in our planes will transfer to the ones you fly in your future.

Certifications and Credentials Earned at Paragon Flight

The journey to the sky begins with a Private Pilot License. With it, you’ll be able to operate a single-engine plane with passengers and cargo, but you will not be able to accept payment. Usually, pilots will continue with their aviation training and then earn an Instrument Flight Rating so that they can fly in more conditions by using avionics, navigation, and communication tools.

If you’re just interested in flying as a hobby, you may stop here, but if you want to become a professional pilot, you’ll carry on to the stage where you earn a Commercial Pilot License, either single or multi engine.

Commercial pilots usually proceed to become Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs). As a flight instructor, you’ll be able to make a living while accruing the flight hours you’ll need to apply at airlines once you earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certification. Flight instructors do need to be certified in the courses they teach, whether it’s single-engine flight, instrument rating flight, or multi-engine flight.

Paragon Flight in Fort Myers, provides the level of flight training unavailable at other centers, whether in Miami or elsewhere. Personalized courses for each student will line up with your budget, schedule, and goals, and it all begins with a collaborative meeting.
