P3 – Professional Pilot Program
One particular program that we offer for truly ambitious pilots is the P3 Program. This course allows pilots to complete their training in fewer than 10 months.
Phase One – Private Pilot License (PPL), 0-10 WEEKS
The first phase is the most important. It provides a foundation for training including the basics of aviation and best practices of flight. By the end of this phase, students are ready to earn their Private Pilot Licenses (PPL).
Phase Two – Instrument Flight Rating (IFR), 11-18 WEEKS
Learning to use the communication and navigation equipment within an aircraft is integral to the life of a commercial pilot.
Phase Three – Commercial License, Single Engine & Multi Engine (CSEL & CMEL), 19-30 WEEKS
Flying commercially is a huge responsibility and requires great skill. This phase prepares pilots to fly professionally in either a single-engine or multi-engine aircraft.
Phase Four – Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), 31-38 WEEKS
The last phase of the course prepares a newly minted professional pilot to work as a flight instructor. During the course of this role, new pilots can accrue flight hours, hone their skills, and genuinely enjoy making a living.
Further jobs will require more training and flight hour documentation. For instance, airline pilots will need Airline Transport Pilot certification and 1,500 documented flight hours.
