Top Commercial Pilot Schools

As a child, did you dream of taking flight as a pilot? Those dreams can be a reality. The occupation of a pilot continues to grow in demand, with many niche positions for every social, financial, and geographical preference. To fly a crop duster, private plane, or airline jet, you’ll need to begin with education. Paragon Flight is one of the top commercial pilot schools due to its location, education components, and history of success.

Top Commercial Pilot SchoolsParagon Flight offers a wide range of certification training, including commercial licenses for single-engine or multi-engine flights. Depending on your plans, you might also consider starting with single-engine and adding a multi-engine rating later.

As an FAA-authorized (FAR) Part 61 and Part 141 program, we can provide a rigidly structured, full-time classroom approach to flight training alongside a one-on-one, flexible, student-centered flight program. We encourage our students to schedule a meeting with our Head Flight Instructor to arrange a custom program that will work best for the individual.

We’ve provided excellent customer service and flight training experiences for many years. In that time, we’ve been awarded multiple times for the quality of our efforts by the AOPA, or Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

A Commercial Pilot in the Making

A commercial flight training program will prepare pilots to fly safely when hauling cargo and passengers. This credential must be held by pilots who plan to accept compensation for their efforts.

The qualifications for becoming a commercial pilot require that the candidate be 18 years old and able to communicate in spoken and written English. This candidate must already be a licensed private pilot with a current 2nd class medical certificate.

The pilot will log 250 hours in the sky, 100 hours as PIC, 20 hours of dual flight time, and 10 hours of solo flight time during the program. At the end of the course, pilots must pass the written exam and the checkride with verbal and practical components.

If you’re considering all of the top commercial pilot schools, Paragon Flight will top them all.
