Top Flight Schools in the USA

Paragon Flight, one of the top flight schools in the USA, wants to be your choice for flight training. We operate under FAA-mandated Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141, so we can appropriately meet the needs of aspiring pilots with part-time or full-time availability.

Paragon Flight Training

Top Flight Schools in the USAParagon Flight calls three locations home. Our headquarters is in Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, FL, and we have two satellite locations – one in Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, FL, and the other in LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange, GA. Each location offers every aspect of flight training needed for excellent results.

Opportunities for Practical Training – Training and practice are essential to earn flight credentials. Our locations experience flight-friendly weather all year long. No matter the season, you’ll have the opportunity to take flight in crystal clear skies for 300+ days of the year.

Equipment for Training – Practice isn’t possible even on sunny days without appropriate equipment. Paragon Flight has a top-quality fleet of aircraft. Students learning to fly single-engine aircraft do so in a Piper PA28 “Pilot,” and multi-engine flight training occurs in a PA-44 Seminole. These aircraft are standard models for flight training and include Glass Cockpit technology and advanced avionics, as required to be considered Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA).

We also make the Cirrus SR20 available for the following purposes:

  • Primary flight instruction
  • High-performance endorsements
  • Transition and differences training
  • Aircraft rentals.

Finally, we provide access to the ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator that permits students to practice without leaving the ground. Simulator practice builds skills and allows students to save on training costs.

Curriculum for Training – Every good teacher has a quality lesson plan that follows an established curriculum. The difference between Part 61 and Part 141 regulations is the rigidity of the curriculum. Part 61 rules allow for flexibility in pacing and schedule, while Part 141 guidelines are prescribed and strictly followed. We’re able to create both types of programs.

Paragon Flight also has the authority to use the Jeppesen Curriculum, a world-class program that produces pilots 30% faster than the national average. This program includes all the software needed and the manuals required for success.

Flight Instructors for Training – The equipment, curriculum, and opportunity for practice will be for naught without quality instructors. The team of Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) here at Paragon Flight is without comparison. We operate in areas where passionate aviators flock, so our pool of applicants is superior. Come to Paragon Flight for a best-fit instructor promise.

Available Training Programs – Paragon Flight regularly provides training for various credentials. Whether you want to operate in a private or commercial role, ensure your training is sufficient for safety by choosing Paragon Flight.

We offer training programs for private pilots encompassing the initial Private Pilot License (PPL) and training to earn an instrument rating, fly a twin-engine aircraft, and transition to Cirrus SR series aircraft.

Commercially inspired pilots come to us as well. We provide the training required to operate in various professional roles and the platform to accrue flight hours for future applications.

Flight training should be fun, safe, and sufficient to prepare you for piloting an airplane, and that’s what we offer at Paragon Flight.
