Top Flight Training Schools
As you check out all the top flight training schools available, ensure that Paragon Flight is on the list. We deserve a second, third, and final look when pilot hopefuls settle on the ideal pilot training source. Our team will create a custom journey for you to reach your aviation dreams, whether they be personal or professional.
A custom aviation training course doesn’t mean that the expectations of skill level change. Pilots take the same FAA checkrides and receive the same licenses regardless of the schedule or pacing of the training course completed. As a flight school under FAR Parts 61 and 141, we can provide one-on-one training and class-based courses. Allow us to meet your learning needs in a way that works for your personality and learning style without sacrificing training quality.
The P3 Professional Pilot Program facilitates the acquisition of a Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Flight Rating (IFR), Commercial License for Single-Engine and Multi-Engine aircraft (CSEL/CMEL), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) status. Completion of this course takes place over 38 weeks of intense, full-time training, so students need to be available to participate in 4-5 flight lessons and 10-20 hours of ground training each week.
Upon completion of this course, if you choose to apply with Paragon Flight for work as a flight instructor, we do consider those applications favorably, and you’ll be able to continue to accrue flight hours as you work toward the 1,500 needed to apply with an airline. The hours you spend flying as a flight instructor count toward this total.
We encourage prospective students to meet with our Chief Flight Instructor to plan a program that will work well for them. During this meeting, we will make clear the timeline, budget, and anticipated outline of the aviation training journey. Once everything is in place, we will schedule an on-board meeting to mark the beginning of your training.
Paragon Flight’s Outstanding Programs
Paragon Flight operates in three different locations. We have two flight schools in Florida, one at Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers and the other at Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda, and another in Georgia at the LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) in LaGrange. Our locations have runways and practice fields for appropriate practice, modern facilities, and well-prepared environments for flight training.
The weather in the areas where we provide training, especially the Florida locations, cooperates with flight training plans practically every day of the year. Our students face few physical obstacles to training, and we provide the standard aircraft for all of the training types we offer.
Our fleet includes the following specific models:
- Primary Training Aircraft
- Piper PA28 “Pilot” – single-engine training
- PA-44 Seminole – multi-engine training
- Specialty Training Aircraft
- Cirrus SR20 – primary instruction, transition and differences training, high-performance endorsements, and single/multiple-day rentals
- ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator is a very realistic simulator that is a replica of the training cockpit.
Training at Paragon Flight is provided by highly qualified flight instructors with a great variety of experiences using the best curriculum in the world. The Jeppesen curriculum is developed by a Boeing subsidiary and is proven to prepare pilots 30% faster than the national average. Every aspect of flight training is fully provided at Paragon Flight’s locations.
