https://www.paragonflight.com/resources/best-aviation-schools-in-florida.htmlBecoming a private pilot will allow you to fly a single-engine aircraft in clear conditions, transporting family members and friends as you vacation or take day trips. However, you must continue your aviation training if you want to fly in non-visual conditions, fly a twin-engine aircraft, or make a living as a pilot.

Paragon Flight can provide various flight training courses structured in multiple fashions. We function under the guidance of FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 61 and 141, so we provide the choice of strictly structured full-time courses with prescribed syllabi or flexibly paced courses for students with competing family and career obligations.

Established in 2006, Paragon Flight’s headquarters are in Fort Myers, FL, and we also have a location in Punta Gorda. Our newest location is north of the Sunshine State in LaGrange, GA. We operate out of the LaGrange-Callaway Airport (LGC) and are near several metropolitan areas, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Montgomery, and Birmingham. Student pilots at this location have access to premiere facilities, training elements, and cooperative weather conditions for 300+ days of the year.

The Cirrus SR20 is used for primary instruction, high-performance endorsements, transition and differences training, and aircraft rentals. The ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator rounds out our fleet and allows our students to save money while working on their skills. The simulator is an identical replica to our training aircraft.

We also use the most effective curriculum developed by a Boeing subsidiary. The Jeppesen curriculum has been proven to produce prepared pilots 30% faster than the national average, and we’re proud to be chosen to use it. Our flight instructors are also world-class. Our flight-friendly setting allows us to recruit from an applicant pool that includes the most passionate aviators in the world.
